Growing up in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Estrela developed a love for food from an early age. Guided by her mother, she learned the importance of selecting the right ingredients and exploring a diverse range of flavors and aromas. Cooking became a pure expression of love for her.

Since 2020, Estrela has been devoted to Ayurvedic principles, which taught her to lead a balanced life, nourishing her body with wholesome food, and cultivating a harmonious relationship with what she eats. She pays attention to flavors, textures, smells, and even sounds.
Estrela chose to delve deeper into Ayurveda because it adds a new dimension to traditional nutrition by considering the environment we inhabit. Whether the weather is hot or cold, dry or wet, she takes its impact on well-being into account when creating dishes. For Estrela, it is essential to feel good about what one eats, recognizing how the body responds to factors like temperature and humidity, ensuring good digestion and abundant energy to engage in daily activities with quality of life.
Personal Story and Purpose
It goes beyond eating healthily, it is about knowing what is healthy for each individual.
In 2022, Estrela decided to embark on a new chapter by moving to Boulder, CO. Her intention was to embrace a more connected life, deeply rooted in nature, the environment, and nutrition. Boulder's cultural diversity, strong appreciation for vegan and vegetarian diets, and scenic bike trails charmed her. Alongside her culinary passion, Estrela enjoys samba, good music, and spending time with friends, as well as indulging in her love for biking, and visiting tea houses.
With an impressive background spanning seven years in plant-based nutrition, Estrela Faria has perfected her culinary expertise, excelling in catering to diverse dietary requirements. Her extensive experience includes working with elderly individuals with special health needs, providing nutritional support in children's hospitals, fulfilling the role of a personal chef, preparing meal plans for patients and curating exquisite menus for restaurants and events.
